This meme has moved to a new date! I am still trying to get my schedule arranged and getting things where I want them.
So… I have 800+ books on my Goodreads TBR. I had just removed a ton of books that I was no longer interested in reading. I’m basically back where I started. Oops. 🙂
A lot of the books I added were ones that I forgot to add to Goodreads, and those were my July anticipated releases!
I have added many others, but I am going to share three of the ones that I found the most interesting.
Paintbrush by Hannah Bucchin. Due out July 11th 2017 by Blaze Publishing, LLC
Mitchell Morrison and Josie Sedgwick have spent their whole lives at the Indian Paintbrush Community Village, a commune full of colorful characters tucked in the mountains of North Carolina, and they aren’t particularly close–at least, not anymore. Josie wishes she could spend all of her time at Paintbrush planting tomatoes, hiking the trails, or throwing giant communal birthday parties, while Mitchell can’t wait to escape the bizarre spiritual sharing and noisy community dinners. Luckily for both of them, high school graduation is just around the corner.
But when Mitchell’s mother makes a scandalous announcement that rocks the close-knit Paintbrush community, and Josie’s younger sister starts to make some dangerously bad decisions, the two find themselves leaning on each other for support–and looking at each other in a whole new light. Their childhood friendship blossoms in to something more as they deal with their insane families, but as graduation approaches, so does life in the real world, forcing Josie and Mitchell to figure out what, exactly, their relationship is–and if it can survive their very different plans for the future.
If There’s No Tomorrow by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Due out September 5th 2017 by Harlequin Teen
Lena Wise is always looking forward to tomorrow, especially at the start of her senior year. She’s ready to pack in as much friend time as possible, to finish college applications, and to maybe let her childhood best friend Sebastian know how she really feels about him. For Lena, the upcoming year is going to be epic–one of opportunities and chances.
Until one choice, one moment, destroys everything.
Now Lena isn’t looking forward to tomorrow. Not when friend time may never be the same. Not when college applications feel all but impossible. Not when Sebastian might never forgive her for what happened.
For what she let happen.
With the guilt growing each day, Lena knows that her only hope is to move on. But how can she move on when she and her friends’ entire existences have been redefined? How can she move on when tomorrow isn’t even guaranteed?
The Rebirth of Francesca by Yoleen Valai. Released Jan 3rd 2017
Disturbed by the untimely death of her only friend and trapped in a destructive relationship with her mother, Francesca wants nothing to do with the summer trip to Italy her mother’s boyfriend drags her into. Little does she know that her life is about to be turned upside down and changed forever by a chance encounter one evening in Florence.
I am a little confused by The Rebirth of Francesca, because there are only two rating/reviews on Goodreads and it has been out since January. Weird right?
Let me know if you have read these, or have them on your TBR!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
